Radiology Director

About the Role

This position involves overseeing radiology services within a hospital department, focusing on operational planning, budgeting, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term operational plans for services, programs, and resources.
• Manage annual capital equipment and operational budgets, including equipment upgrades and facility renovations.
• Analyze and generate reports and data to monitor performance and safety.
• Address errors and implement corrective actions for patients, staff, and physicians.
• Approve departmental purchases, evaluate equipment and space utilization.
• Assess service quality and safety, recommending improvements.
• Maintain liaison with hospital administration, medical staff, and external groups.
• Identify opportunities for new or improved services based on trends and surveys.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; ARRT certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, managerial, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a busy environment with diverse healthcare professionals.
