Radiology - CT Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic CT images
• Perform daily calibration and quality control checks on CT equipment
• Inject patients with radiopharmaceuticals as per physician orders
• Verify activity levels of radiopharmaceutical doses and ensure accurate documentation
• Receive and verify radiopharmaceuticals, following safety protocols to adhere to ALARA principles
• Maintain patient records and ensure equipment functionality
• Report equipment issues to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Perform quality assurance and safety tests
• Follow department policies and radiation safety guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience
• Current ARRT certification
• Valid client license (L.R.T.)

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of radiation safety, quality control procedures, and proper imaging techniques
• Ability to follow protocols meticulously and maintain detailed documentation
