About the role
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic CT images
- Perform daily calibration and quality control checks on CT equipment
- Inject patients with radiopharmaceuticals as per physician orders
- Verify activity levels of radiopharmaceutical doses and ensure accurate documentation
- Receive and verify radiopharmaceuticals, following safety protocols to adhere to ALARA principles
- Maintain patient records and ensure equipment functionality
- Report equipment issues to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform quality assurance and safety tests
- Follow department policies and radiation safety guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience
- Current ARRT certification
- Valid client license (L.R.T.)
Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of radiation safety, quality control procedures, and proper imaging techniques
- Ability to follow protocols meticulously and maintain detailed documentation
