Radiology - Body Imaging

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, DEXA, and mammograms.
• Analyze patient medical histories and symptoms to determine appropriate imaging techniques.
• Consult with referring physicians to discuss patient cases and provide recommendations for further diagnostic testing or treatment.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of imaging results by adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans based on imaging findings.
• Perform clinical and patient care duties in a prompt and professional manner consistent with professional clinical and ethical standards applicable to the geographic area in which the services are provided and consistent with high quality of care standards.
• Provide guidance, instruction, didactics, and knowhow to residents, fellows, trainees, and students who will be furthering their educational objectives and requirements in live settings.
• Comply with governmental and accreditation regulations.
• Stay up to date with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.

Requirements

• Requires a Medical Degree (M.D.) degree, or foreign equivalent and a valid and current medical license to practice medicine in the State of California.
• Also requires completion of an accredited residency program in Diagnostic Radiology.
