About the Role

Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Clinical Supervisor, the Radiology Tech Assistant performs general radiology support tasks, including various support and patient care activities.

Schedule

• Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• FTE Status: 0.6 (part-time)
• On-call: No
• Weekends: Yes

Requirements

• Previous knowledge in the use of information systems and computer literacy
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and effective patient care while performing duties of Radiology Tech Assistant
• Utilizes and effectively operates all Radiology equipment and software in daily responsibilities
• Maintains certifications and education requirements of the hospital and accrediting body
• Displays consistent proficiency in using AIDET when communicating with patients, visitors, physicians, peers, managers, volunteers, internal and external customers
• Performs all other duties as assigned
