RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST/X-RAY TECHNICIAN

About the Role

Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is recruiting for both a full-time and part-time certified Radiologic Technologist. Our Technologists perform x-rays and are cross-trained to assist with patient care duties in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete quality x-rays efficiently using Fuji DR (Seven Fields, Robinson Township, Fox Chapel) and Konica KDR Primary X-ray System (North Hills, Butler).
• Work collectively alongside Physicians and Physician Assistants.
• Perform Medical Assistant duties, including but not limited to:
  • Triaging patients
  • Suture/staple removal
  • Injection preparation for providers
  • Bracing
  • Assisting in electronically sending medications
  • Ordering advanced imaging (MRI/CT/US/Bone Scan)
• Stay until office hours are finished and all patients are seen (latest scheduled staff).
• Possible evening and weekend hours for Ortho Urgent Care.
• Possible travel to all five office locations, with primary focus on North Hills.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday daylight hours.
• Primarily based in a "home office" determined by home location, typically geographically desirable but may require travel to other offices as needed.

Locations

Offices in North Hills, Seven Fields, Robinson Township, Fox Chapel, and Butler.

EMR experience is a plus.
