Radiologic Technologist With OR
United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology team at our Wilson Place location in Johnson City, NY. This role primarily supports an active Pain Management service line, with coverage of standard operating room procedures as needed.
About the role
In this role, you will ensure that Radiology procedures and equipment are administered accurately, timely, responsively, and reliably. The position is based in the Radiology department at UHS Binghamton General Hospital, with a primary focus on Pain Management and limited coverage for general operating room cases.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine portable, fluoroscopic, and operating room imaging procedures, with a primary focus on supporting an active Pain Management service line and providing limited coverage for general operating room cases as needed.
- Completes all required documentation accurately and in accordance with established protocols.
- Demonstrates strong C-arm and operating room experience; prior experience within a Pain Management setting is highly preferred.
- Collaborates effectively with referring physicians, radiologists, pain management providers, ancillary departments, and patients to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.
- Adheres to all safety standards and radiation protection guidelines, consistently applying ALARA principles in all imaging procedures.
- Maintains working knowledge of UHS Information Services systems and utilizes clinical applications appropriately to support efficient workflow and accurate documentation.
- Provides clear patient education and comprehensive documentation to support excellent patient outcomes within a fast-paced Pain Management schedule.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in science in Radiologic Technology (minimum required).
- New York license as Radiologic Technologist or eligible.
- Obtain CPR Certification within the first three months of hire.

Pay
$27.80 - $41.69 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Day shift, 40 scheduled weekly hours.
