Radiologic Technologist up to $4K Bonus

About the role

The Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients at Concentra. This position involves preparing patients for radiologic procedures, operating equipment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting other areas within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Radiologic Technologist:

  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
  • Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, provide instructions, and assist with positioning.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ensure patient care, safety, and comfort during exams.
  • Maintain equipment in working order and report malfunctions.
  • Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain equipment and follow calibration, QA/QC procedures.

• Medical Assistant:

  • Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
  • Take vital signs and ancillary tests.
  • Absorb and assist during examinations and treatments.
  • Dispense medications and DME as ordered.
  • Complete quality assurance activities on equipment and devices.
  • Notify supervisor of equipment issues, supply needs, or facility concerns.
  • Communicate wait times, distribute employer results, and handle clerical tasks.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules.
  • Attend staff meetings and complete required training.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Applicable certification by the state in which employed.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.

• Experience:

  • Customarily have at least six months or more of medical assistant experience.
  • Knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
  • Prior medical office, healthcare, and/or customer service-related experience preferred.

• Skills:

  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems logically.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Tact and professionalism in dealing with people.
  • Confidentiality and secure information management.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
