Radiologic Technologist up to $2K Bonus

About the role

The Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients at Concentra. This position involves performing routine x-ray examinations, supporting in other areas of the facility, and ensuring patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Radiologic Technologist:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
  • Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, provide instructions, and assist with positioning.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ensure patient care, safety, and comfort during exams.
  • Maintain equipment in working order and report malfunctions.
  • Follow documentation procedures and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain and operate x-ray equipment, including calibration and record keeping.
• Medical Assistant:
  • Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
  • Take vital signs and ancillary tests.
  • Absorb and assist with physical examinations.
  • Dispense medications and DME.
  • Apply bandages, dressings, and splints.
  • Complete quality assurance activities and testing processes.
  • Notify supervisor of equipment issues and maintain a clean, orderly facility.
  • Communicate with patients and manage their expectations.
  • Handle clerical tasks in both front and back offices.
  • Participate in training and adhere to confidentiality and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and certified by the ARRT.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Customary medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
• Prior experience in healthcare and customer service.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
