About the role
The Team Lead Radiologic Technologist Flex works across multiple GoHealth Urgent Care sites, providing a variety of technical procedures and administrative support. This role involves performing x-ray services, patient registration, rooming, and administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform x-ray services under the direction of the clinical provider
- Ensure patients are positioned correctly and protected during x-ray procedures
- Conduct patient registration, including securing required paperwork and verifying insurance and patient eligibility
- Process co-pays and schedule patient appointments
- Coordinate provider referrals to assigned specialists
- Answer patient questions regarding their care and keep them informed of their status
- Prepare patients for examinations, including conducting interviews to verify patient information, recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit, and performing preliminary physical tests
- Stock exam rooms, front desk, and reception areas with supplies and ensure providers have necessary medical supplies
- Document daily controls and calibration of equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed
- Manage medical records and scan charts to patient files
- Answer phone calls, collect and sort daily incoming and outgoing postal correspondence, and conduct courtesy call-backs for patient follow-up on care
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cashing out, end-of-day communication, and securing the building
- Assist with MOD duties during OSM absences
- Train and assess team members assigned to the center
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- 2+ years Radiology Technologist experience
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
- Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Pass MVR background check
Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software preferred
