Radiologic Tech Lead

Full Time, Day Shift 8:00am-4:30pm at Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health—a nationally recognized, non-profit community hospital serving the Seacoast region since 1896. About the role

Under the direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging and the Diagnostic Imaging Manager, you will oversee and direct the daily operation of the Radiology department in Diagnostic Imaging. You will operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' bodies.

Responsibilities

• Meet all requirements of a staff Radiology technologist.
• Plan and schedule work for the assigned area, ensuring proper distribution of assignments, adequate staffing coverage, space, and facilities for technologists and other staff.
• Integrate and coordinate delivery of departmental services with other hospital departments.
• Manage procurement, storage, and routing of supplies.
• Oversee and assist, when necessary, in the performance of diagnostic procedures performed by staff.
• Collaborate with the supervising Radiologist and Manager to create protocols and monitor the technical quality of all exams.
• Assist in department service recovery efforts with internal and external customers.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for PACS/EHR and other department-specific systems.
• Provide feedback to the department Manager and Director regarding equipment purchasing and budgets.
• Assist the Manager with additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of directly related experience.
• Associate’s Degree.
• MIRT License.
• ARRT registered.
• CPR certified within 90 days of hire.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Supervisory experience.
