Radiologic Technologist Team Lead- Flex

About the role

The Team Lead Radiologic Technologist Flex works across multiple GoHealth Urgent Care centers, traveling to provide x-ray services and administrative support. This role involves performing x-ray procedures, patient registration, rooming, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray procedures under the direction of a clinical provider
• Position patients correctly and protect them during x-ray procedures
• Conduct patient registration, including securing required paperwork and verifying insurance and patient eligibility
• Process co-pays and schedule patient appointments
• Prepare patients for examinations, confirming purpose of visit and conducting preliminary tests
• Stock exam rooms, front desk, and reception areas with necessary supplies
• Maintain medical records and scan charts into patient files
• Answer phone calls, collect and sort incoming and outgoing mail, and perform courtesy call-backs
• Follow operating instructions to perform daily controls and calibrate equipment
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment and submit repair tickets as needed
• Assist with administrative tasks such as timekeeping, coordination of referrals, and training of team members
• Drive key performance indicators and strategic initiatives in collaboration with the On-Site Manager

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
• 2+ years Radiology Technologist experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
• Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Valid State Driver’s License
• Pass MVR background check
