About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations following physician orders and established protocols.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain exams to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • Required: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or currently enrolled in an ARRT-recognized radiology program.
  • If enrolled in an ARRT-recognized program, notify supervisor and/or Human Resources if no longer participating in the program during employment.
  • Upon completion of the ARRT program, successfully complete the ARRT registry examination and obtain ARRT registration within one (1) year of hire.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Military Training Network required at hire.
