About the role
Responsible for providing high-quality imaging services in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general radiographic and specialty imaging procedures using clinical protocols.
- Prepare patients, position them appropriately, and evaluate image quality.
- Ensure accurate documentation in electronic medical records and RIS, following safety and infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain radiation safety, perform equipment checks, and adhere to safety policies.
- Assist with training, workflow coordination, and participate in operational improvements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
Skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient care across all ages.
Qualifications
Preferred: one year of diagnostic procedure experience.
