Radiologic Technologist - Part Time - Weekend Day

About the role

This position involves providing high-quality Radiology services in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Radiology rooms for procedures
• Develop images following clinical protocols
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and evaluate image quality
• Position patients for optimal imaging while respecting comfort and safety
• Evaluate images for quality and proper identification
• Ensure accurate input of patient data into electronic records
• Maintain radiation safety and perform equipment checks
• Provide patient education and communicate results appropriately
• Assist in training new staff and support workflow efficiency
• Respond to contrast reactions and adhere to safety protocols
• Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service
• Rotate between different shifts and assignments as needed

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support certification

Skills

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality
• Preferred: at least one year of diagnostic procedure experience
