Job Summary
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist - Medical Assistant to join our team. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, performing EKGs, administering IM injections, performing x-ray/imaging services, collecting patient history, documenting EHR, applying splints, dressings, and bandages, assisting with check-in/check-out, auditing charts, maintaining records and logs, and keeping patients and visitors informed.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services
- Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required
- General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT) license in state of residency if required by the state
- BLS certification within 30 days of start required
- Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP)
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred
- Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start
- Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start
- Maintain state license (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant within 30 days of employment or promotion
