About the role

This role involves performing diagnostic x-ray procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and trauma imaging, to assist in patient diagnosis across all ages.

Responsibilities

• Operate various x-ray equipment, maintaining safety standards and ensuring high-quality imaging
• Position patients and support surgical cases with C-arms and O-arms
• Care for patients and coordinate exams with medical staff
• Manage equipment maintenance and document procedures accurately
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Radiologic technology degree
• Current ARRT certification
• Nebraska radiographer license
• BLS certification

Skills

• Knowledge of radiologic techniques and radiation safety
• Proficiency with computer systems like PACS
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work under stress
• Physical stamina for medium work
• Adherence to safety and confidentiality standards
