Key Responsibilities
- Operating digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment under supervision to obtain routine radiographs following physician and protocol specifications.
- Providing imaging services for patients of all ages while adhering to radiation safety standards.
- Participating in performance improvement initiatives, training, and educational activities.
- Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and managing supplies and inventory.
- Effective communication with patients to gather medical history, explain procedures, and support patient comfort.
- Performing quality control activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring proper image documentation and distribution.
- Upholding professionalism, organizational values, and compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Aceess Associate's degree and certification in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire in Maryland; within 90 days in Washington, DC.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and BLS certification required upon hire.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills preferred.
- Experience not required; prior work experience is not mandatory.
Pay
