About the role

ChristianaCare is a nonprofit health system with a mission of service, partnering with patients and their families to provide effective, affordable, and valuable health care. The Wilmington Hospital Radiology Department is seeking a full-time (80 hr) Radiologic Technologist to work day shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
• Develop and identify radiographs
• Perform clerical duties: receptionist and scheduling duties, complete clinical forms, and handle filing
• Cover the Emergency Department (ED), OR, Portables, and Fluoro
• Assist with the training of radiology technology students
• Use and perform quality control on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
• Operate equipment including Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm
• Burn patient CDs

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Radiology Science
• ARRT Registered Technologist (required)
• Delaware license
• Certification in CPR
• Flexibility in hours and duties
• RT Technologist experience (preferred)

Pay

Hourly pay range: $32.77 - $52.43. The actual salary offered will depend on individual factors such as skills, relevant experience, and qualifications.
