Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Harding Place Clinic. Responsibilities
- Carry out radiology requisitions and view films.
- Use radiographic technique, PACS, and assist other staff members as needed.
- Memorize specific views each physician requires on exams.
- Absorb patients into the required positions for radiographs, occasionally lifting them.
- Take x-rays according to established procedures for patient care and safety.
- Stock necessary supplies and use radiation protection and shielding materials.
- Assist with and provide direct training and supervision to student technologists.
- Ensure equipment is in working order and report malfunctions to supervisor promptly.
- Import and upload outside CDs for clinic use.
Requirements
- Six months experience as a radiologic technologist required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with completion of ARRT-approved radiologic technology course.
- Current ARRT certification and TN licensure.
- BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of radiographic technique and PACS.
- Vast knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
- Working knowledge of all types of DR X-Ray equipment.
- Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory MVR.
