Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Harding Place Clinic. Responsibilities

  • Carry out radiology requisitions and view films.
  • Use radiographic technique, PACS, and assist other staff members as needed.
  • Memorize specific views each physician requires on exams.
  • Absorb patients into the required positions for radiographs, occasionally lifting them.
  • Take x-rays according to established procedures for patient care and safety.
  • Stock necessary supplies and use radiation protection and shielding materials.
  • Assist with and provide direct training and supervision to student technologists.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and report malfunctions to supervisor promptly.
  • Import and upload outside CDs for clinic use.

Requirements

  • Six months experience as a radiologic technologist required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with completion of ARRT-approved radiologic technology course.
  • Current ARRT certification and TN licensure.
  • BLS certification.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of radiographic technique and PACS.
  • Vast knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy.
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
  • Working knowledge of all types of DR X-Ray equipment.
  • Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory MVR.
