RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST/DIAGNOSTIC X-RAY TECHNICIAN

Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, a well-respected and busy orthopaedic practice, is recruiting for both a full-time and part-time certified X-Ray Technologist. Our Technologists perform x-rays and are cross-trained to assist with patient care duties.

About the role

• Primary responsibility: completing quality x-rays in an efficient manner
• Equipment: Fuji DR (North Hills, Seven Fields, Robinson Twp., Fox Chapel) and Konica KDR Primary X-ray System (Butler)
• EMR experience is a plus
• Work collectively alongside Physicians and Physician Assistants
• All clinical staff are trained as Medical Assistants, which may include:
  • Triaging patients
  • Suture/staple removal
  • Injection preparation for providers
  • Bracing
  • Assisting in electronically sending medications
  • Ordering advanced imaging (MRI/CT/US/Bone Scan)
• Possible travel to all five office locations (primary focus on Butler):
  • North Hills
  • Seven Fields
  • Robinson Twp.
  • Fox Chapel
  • Butler
• Primarily based in a "home office" determined by home location, typically placed in geographically desirable offices but may need to travel based on need

Schedule

• Monday through Friday daylight hours
• Must stay until office hours are finished and all patients are seen (latest scheduled staff)
• Possible evening and weekend hours (Ortho Urgent Care)
