RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST/DIAGNOSTIC X-RAY TECHNICIAN

About the Role

Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is seeking certified X-Ray Technologists for both full-time and part-time positions. In this role, you will perform x-rays and assist with patient care duties in a fast-paced clinic environment. Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, a passion for helping patients, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Complete quality x-rays efficiently using Fuji DR (Seven Fields, Robinson Township, Fox Chapel) and Konica KDR Primary X-Ray System (North Hills, Butler)
• Work collectively alongside physicians and physician assistants
• Assist with patient care duties as a trained Medical Assistant, including but not limited to:
  • Triaging patients
  • Suture/staple removal
  • Injection preparation for providers
  • Bracing
  • Assisting in electronically sending medications
  • Ordering advanced imaging (MRI/CT/US/Bone Scan)
• Stay until office hours are finished and all patients are seen (latest scheduled staff)
• Possible evening and weekend hours for Ortho Urgent Care
• Travel may be required to all five office locations, with a primary focus on Seven Fields

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, daylight hours
• Primarily based in a "home office" determined by your home location, typically placed in geographically desirable offices but may need to travel based on need
