Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities

• Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Perform Diagnostic Radiographic procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal regulations.
• Ensure that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
• Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations.
• Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
• ARRT-R or RCIS or CCT Certification
• Current BLS accredited by the AHA
• Familiar with State and Federal regulations
• Proficient computer skills
