Responsibilities
- Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
- Perform Diagnostic Radiographic procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal regulations.
- Ensure that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Process and transmit images to PACS.
- Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations.
- Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities.
Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
- ARRT-R or RCIS or CCT Certification
- Current BLS accredited by the AHA
- Familiar with State and Federal regulations
- Proficient computer skills
