RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST

About the role

Responsible for performing imaging services as requested by the referring physician for patients of all age populations. Technologists demonstrate competency, knowledge, and skills necessary to interact with and advocate for patients. Technologists will work closely with radiologists and other physicians to provide the best diagnostic information while striving to deliver the highest quality patient services following established and accepted techniques. This position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and members of the community.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging services for patients of all age populations
• Demonstrate competency, knowledge, and skills in patient interaction and advocacy
• Collaborate with radiologists and other physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic information
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, colleagues, and the community
• Cross-train in additional imaging modalities
• Prioritize assigned duties and maintain accurate records
• Follow instructions with attention to detail

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (R.T.)
• AART certification and registration in Radiography (R) and/or Magnetic Resonance (MR)
• Must obtain CT certification within one year of hire
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as R.T. (R)(MR)(CT) preferred
• Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Dependability, flexibility, and ability to work well with others

Pay

$28.61 - $28.87 per hour
