Radiologic Technologist
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Imaging and Patient Care: Perform X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician protocols to ensure accurate and timely results. Provide compassionate, quality care, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. Assist patients in and out of wheelchairs and escort them to exam rooms as needed.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate imaging equipment efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with safety and radiation therapy practices. Transfer images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) promptly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging equipment and rooms, ensuring a sterile environment. Report any equipment issues by calling in service tickets and coordinating timely repairs.
Collaboration and Support: Assist Clinic Assistants and other healthcare team members as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient care and workflow efficiency.
Additional Duties: Perform any other related duties as required or assigned to support the overall operation of the clinic and patient care services.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
Certification: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and valid state licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in X-ray imaging software and equipment.
Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and PACS.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Software Skills
Proficiency in X-ray imaging software.
Knowledge of PACS and experience with EHR systems.
Competency in communication tools and collaboration platforms.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with safety and compliance software.
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
ARRT certification.
State radiologic technologist license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
