Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures including general x-ray, CT, Bone Densitometry, C-Arm, and portable imaging while maintaining safety for self, patients, and all other individuals utilizing ALARA standards.
  • Produce quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Prepare and transmit images to the Radiologist for over-read, and report over-read results to providers.
  • Create/burn CDs in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist patients as needed with walking, transfer, exam prep, etc.
  • Perform IV starts and contrast administration, as required.
  • Apply logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to problems.
  • Complete patient referrals daily.
  • Ensure concise and complete EMR documentation and paper-based documentation for all assessments and procedures.
  • Comply with and follow policies and procedures as outlined by Madison Healthcare Services.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensed and accredited by ARRT or eligible.
  • Knowledge of PACS administration.
  • Ability to accurately perform required diagnostic imaging exams as ordered by Medical Providers.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes, radiation safety measures, common safety hazards, and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
  • Knowledge of applicable radiology state rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations including OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
  • Strong commitment to providing superior, individualized compassionate care to patients.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Pay

$29.39 - $43.50 / Hourly, plus a $9,000 sign-on bonus.
