Radiologic Technologist

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Radiology Tech to join our team at HCA Florida Lake City Hospital. Your primary function is performing x-rays on patients, triaging patients, and providing other patient care services. You will work with a collaborative team in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate X-Rays as ordered by the Provider while practicing radiation safety precautions to include ALARA.
• Prepare and transmit images to the Radiologist for over-read.
• Room patients to include taking and recording vital signs and patient history.
• Assist patients and providers as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam prep, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
• Transport patients as needed.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Accredited by ARRT.
• Licensed by the state of Florida.
• Two years of clinical experience in a related field preferred.
