Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in Louisiana
- Current BLS certification
- Participation in annual Infection Prevention education
- Compliance with all Employee Health protocols (annual TB skin test, annual flu vaccine, annual employee physical if maintaining insurance benefits)
- Completion of annual training including Relias, Ethics, and Sexual Harassment
- Attendance at all mandatory inservices and departmental meetings
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens
