Full-time position at CaroMont Orthopedic & Sports Medicine in Gastonia, NC.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
About the role
To perform diversified duties in radiology, including preparation and positioning of patients, operation of x-ray equipment, ordering x-ray supplies, and staying current with x-ray procedures and safety precautions. Additional responsibilities include:
- Working in a physician office to draw blood and assist providers with patients
- Obtaining vitals and medical history
- Returning patient calls and providing information at the direction of the provider
- Providing front-office support duties such as obtaining referrals and pre-certifications, collecting co-pays/pre-payments, updating patient demographics, answering telephones, and scheduling appointments
Requirements
- Two-year degree from an accredited radiology school program
- Must be registered by ARRT
- Ongoing participation in continuing education
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- Good customer service skills
- Thorough knowledge of radiology testing procedures
- Considerable skill in performing various radiology procedures
- Ability to accept new responsibilities as new equipment/examinations are introduced into the department
