Radiologic Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and operating radiologic equipment to capture high-quality images according to physician orders
• Educating patients about imaging procedures and addressing their questions
• Maintaining and troubleshooting imaging equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Evaluating image quality and presenting findings to healthcare teams
• Documenting procedures accurately and adhering to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control
• Ensuring patient safety and collaborating effectively with healthcare personnel

Requirements

• At least one year of radiologic technologist experience
• Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and communicate effectively
