Description Job Description Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) – Outpatient Imaging PeaceHealth South Clinic Full Time, Day Shift Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. $40.11-$60.17/hr, DOE Hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be available Some Radiologic Technologists love the pace and unpredictability of a hospital environment. Others reach a point in their careers where they're looking for something different: a consistent weekday schedule, meaningful patient interactions, and the opportunity to become part of a close-knit clinic team. That's what makes this role at PeaceHealth's South Eugene Clinic stand out. Imagine starting your morning knowing exactly where you'll be, working alongside providers and caregivers who know and trust you. You'll spend your day performing diagnostic X-ray exams, helping patients feel comfortable and informed, and supporting a clinic team that's focused on delivering exceptional care. While imaging remains your primary responsibility, you'll also play an important role in the daily rhythm of the clinic by helping prepare rooms, support patient flow, and ensure patients receive a seamless experience. Most of your time will be spent at South Eugene Clinic, with occasional opportunities to assist at other PeaceHealth clinic locations when coverage is needed. It's a role that offers stability, connection, and the chance to make a difference in ways that go well beyond imaging. What Your Day Feels Like You're not hidden away in a department where patients move through and are forgotten five minutes later. You'll become part of the clinic. One patient may arrive feeling anxious about an injury. Another may be visiting a provider they've seen for years. Throughout the day you'll perform imaging exams, answer questions, help patients feel at ease, and support the clinical team in creating a positive experience from check-in to check-out. When imaging volume slows, you're not waiting for the next exam. You're helping prepare rooms, stocking supplies, supporting coworkers, and contributing to a team environment where everyone works together to care for patients. The technologists who tend to love this type of role are those who enjoy being involved in the bigger picture of patient care. They appreciate being part of a team, jumping in where needed, and knowing their contributions make a difference beyond the imaging suite.
