Responsibilities
- Operate C-arm fluoroscopic equipment for all applicable surgical and pain management cases; ensure adequate radiation shielding for patients, personnel, and the facility
- Verify equipment is in proper working order prior to each case; report malfunctions promptly and coordinate follow-up with service technicians
- Maintain, monitor, and properly store personal radiation monitoring badges; label radioactive materials, waste, and hazardous areas per protocol
- Transport radioactive materials within the center in accordance with safety regulations
- Maintain all quality assurance standards per New Jersey state regulations; identify and report compliance concerns in a timely manner
- Practice sterile technique when required; keep all imaging equipment clean and presentable, including portable units prior to OR entry
- Stock and maintain radiologic supplies; identify pregnant patients and follow applicable imaging protocols
- Assist with emergency procedures as directed; support patient care with a positive, professional, and compassionate approach
Requirements
- A minimum one year of fluoroscopic or C-arm experience is required
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and orthopaedic or pain management experience is strongly preferred
- Strong attention to radiation safety, sterile technique, and patient communication in a fast-paced surgical environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
- Current NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography license and ARRT certification required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required

OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to disclose the compensation range for this position. The hiring range for this role is $38-48/hr. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience. Eligible full-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan.
