About the role
This position involves working as an X-Ray Technologist within the urgent care setting, supporting urgent care operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely, adhering to ALARA principles.
- Collaborate with providers to ensure timely patient care.
- Flexibly take on MA clinical duties such as triage, labs, venipuncture, and wound care.
- Assist with MR tasks including insurance verification, registration, and payment collection.
- Maintain equipment quality control and compliance logs.
Requirements
- ARRT-certified (R.T. (R)) in good standing, with a Radiologic Technologist (RT/Rad Tech/X-Ray Technologist) state license where required.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within a defined onboarding period.
- One (1) year of urgent care/ER imaging experience preferred.
- Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
- Flexible team player capable of covering MA/MR duties.
- Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI is preferred.
- Exposure to radiation and biohazards (PPE required).
