About the role

Performs basic radiologic procedures at UAB community clinics under the supervision of a Radiologist and the Imaging Manager. Operates within established protocols to produce diagnostic images using prescribed ionizing radiation. Maintains responsibility for assigned procedures or work areas.

  • Operates within established protocols to produce diagnostic images using prescribed ionizing radiation.
  • Performs basic radiologic procedures at UAB community clinics under the supervision of a Radiologist and the Imaging Manager.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an Associate Degree Radiography program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
