Radiologic Imaging Clinical Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
- Applies advanced knowledge and skill to perform routine and difficult examinations by using independent judgment.
- Affords assistance in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures, including but not limited to quality assurance/control programs.
- Resolves physician complaints regarding clinical performance.
- Effectively triages patients to ensure timely and appropriate care.
- Maintains a strong understanding of radiation safety and protection principles.
Minimum Qualifications
- Certification - Basic Life Support
- American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certified as a Radiologic Technologist
- Licensure - Licensed Radiologic Technologist, Must be licensed as required by the state of employment if employed at an Inova Health System free-standing Imaging Center not affiliated with an Inova hospital
- Experience - Five years of Diagnostic X-ray experience in a hospital/healthcare environment
- Education - Associate Degree Radiology Graduate of an accredited school/program of radiography
