Radiography Technician Instructor

About the role

Seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for teaching. Work location: Las Vegas, NV. The college has been recognized as Best of Las Vegas, Inc. 5000, Talk of the Town, and holds Green Globes Building Certification. Employees are eligible for a salary evaluation after 90 days; term-based contracts receive annual evaluations per industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach Radiography courses according to the lesson plan and syllabus as directed by the program supervisor
• Prepare and grade written and practical examinations
• Instruct lab sessions and administer online courses as needed
• Attend faculty meetings, in-service meetings, graduation ceremonies, and other events as required by the College
• Dress professionally in accordance with faculty dress code
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department program chair

Requirements

• In-field experience: 2+ years
• Undergraduate degree required: bachelor’s degree
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques
• A.R.R.T.(R) (ARRT) Certification, required prior to hire
• Radiology Technologist for Nevada license, required prior to hire

Pay

Salary $42.79-$43.27/hr (Based on Prior Education and Experience)

Schedule

Job Type: Full-time, Part-Time, Adjunct/On Call/Substitute. Schedule (Example Hours): Full-time: Monday - Thursday 11a - 1op; Adjunct: Monday - Thursday: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.; Friday-Sunday: Off.
