Responsibilities
- Performing general radiographic, surgical, and fluoroscopic procedures efficiently and producing consistently high-quality images
- Aiding radiologists with fluoroscopic exams
- Demonstrating proper radiation protection techniques for all patients
- Selecting appropriate technical factors using established technique charts
- Understanding and following surgical protocols and workflow
- Preparing and cleaning exam rooms thoroughly between procedures
- Providing excellent communication and support to patients, families, and clinical teams
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligible
- Must obtain ARRT registration within 3 months of employment and maintain active registration
- BLS required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiographer
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Typing and basic computer skills required
