Radiographer

Role Summary: Performs radiographic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist, handling designated areas and procedures that require independent judgment. Responsible for operating imaging equipment, processing media, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring patient rights are protected. Assists with basic nursing care, departmental clerical duties, and participates in performance improvement initiatives. Supports orientation of new staff and supervises students during clinical rotations, promoting a safe environment. Qualifications & Skills: Requires a High School Diploma or GED; an Associate’s Degree is preferred. Must hold a NM Radiography Technologist (RRT) license or a temporary license. ARRT R.T.(R) certification is preferred at hire, with a one-year period to obtain it.
