About the role
Perform diagnostic medical radiographic procedures and participate in Crisis Intervention Teams (CIT) as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic examinations, ensuring adherence to hospital policies, procedures, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and work areas in optimal condition.
- Develop and evaluate film for technical quality.
- Transport patients and prepare radiography rooms.
- Contribute to professional growth through educational programs and meetings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- New Mexico Radiography Technologist (RRT) license or temporary license required; ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Knowledge of radiography procedures, hospital policies, and safety protocols.
