About the role
Perform diagnostic medical radiographics and participate in Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) responses as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct radiographic examinations following department protocols.
- Maintain compliance with department policies and safety standards.
- Check, maintain, and troubleshoot radiographic equipment and supplies.
- Develop and evaluate radiographic films for diagnostic quality.
- Transport and prepare patients for procedures.
- Ensure work area cleanliness and infection control.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Associate’s degree in Radiography (preferred).
- New Mexico Radiography Technologist (RRT) license or temporary license (required).
- ARRT R.T.(R) certification (preferred).
- Current BLS certification (required).
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining radiographic equipment.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
