The Twister is the leading voice for news, sports, and community events in The Sandhills Region of Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Online Content Creation: Live stream, edit videos, provide on-the-spot commentary, and conduct interviews.
• Voice-Tracking: Record, edit, and playback scheduled voice tracks as required.
• Audio Production: Handle the production of radio audio content, including commercials, jingles, and promos, ensuring high-quality sound.
• Promotions Assistance: Aid in the conceptualization and execution of radio promotions, ensuring all materials, prizes, and setups are ready for remotes.
• General Assistance: Provide support to other station activities as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in radio or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proficient in audio software and equipment (training can be provided).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate live broadcasts or remote sessions as needed.
• Team player with a proactive approach.
• Valid driver’s license.
