About the role
The Technical Director-Radio Shop is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the radio shop operations, including equipment maintenance, programming, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the radio shop, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain and repair all radio equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement programming schedules that meet listener needs and station goals.
- Manage staff, providing training and feedback to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across platforms.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, maintaining a positive customer service experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV Production, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in radio production, management, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to manage a team and develop staff.
- Strong understanding of radio technology and programming principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of radio industry trends and best practices.
- Experience with digital media platforms and social media marketing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and audio editing software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay
$X per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed.
