About the role
We are seeking a Full-Time Radiation Therapist to perform patient treatments using ionizing radiation under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. The role involves outpatient treatment in a hospital-based radiation department, providing care for oncology patients aged 18 and above.
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients and charts prior to treatment
- Delivering accurate and consistent radiation therapy treatments
- Coordinating patient scheduling and completing treatment processes
Qualifications
- Certified Radiation Therapist (RT(T)) and Board Certified by ARRT
- Ability to operate TrueBeam linac
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- No prior experience necessary
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- Knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work independently within established protocols
