About the role
Provide a planned course of radiation therapy treatment to patients as prescribed by a physician, always ensuring patient safety and care.
Responsibilities
- Work with Radiation Oncologists to deliver radiation therapy to patients in a world-class environment.
- Communicate essential information to patients and family members to enable them to complete their course of therapy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in all areas of radiation therapy including brachytherapy, immobilization fabrication.
- Experience with clinical set-ups and contours.
Qualifications
- Graduate of AMA approved Radiation Therapy Technology program.
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
