About the role

Utilizes technical abilities to simulate and/or deliver a course of radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. Has completed the senior therapist criteria and stays current with those requirements.

Responsibilities

• Simulate and/or deliver radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiation oncologist.
• Maintain compliance with senior therapist criteria and ongoing requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate of a radiation therapy technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy (RTT) certification.
• One of the following experience combinations:
  • Hired as a new graduate: up to 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist and 3 years of employment at the Cancer Institute as a Radiation Therapist.
  • Hired with 2–5 years of experience: 2 years of employment at the Cancer Institute as a Radiation Therapist.
  • Hired with a minimum of 5 years of experience: 1 year of employment at the Cancer Institute as a Radiation Therapist.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $64.25 - $96.43 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
