Radiation Therapist - PRN

About the Role

Provides daily imaging and delivers prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to patients safely and accurately in a clinical setting. The therapist applies technical knowledge of equipment, clinical treatment setup, anatomical landmarks, and treatment recording while interacting effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare staff. Ensures precise delivery of radiation, maintains patient safety and confidentiality, and documents care in treatment records and charts. Develops understanding of patients' physical and emotional needs, respecting growth and development considerations across diverse populations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NDMIRT) Board if applicable
• Strong communication, patient care, and safety skills
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations and adhere to HIPAA standards
