Radiation Therapist PRN

About the role
The Radiation Therapist provides radiation therapy treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures of Memorial Health/Meadows Hospital. In collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist, dosimetry, nurse, front office staff, the patient, the patient’s family, and other members of the healthcare team, the Radiation Therapist evaluates the treatment plan, delivers accurate radiation therapy treatments, performs simulation, CT scans, maintains accurate radiation therapy treatment records, and ensures proper scheduling and billing.
The role may also include assisting with the development of radiation therapy staff scheduling, participation in weekly chart review, involvement in process improvements, and other responsibilities as required by management.
Requirements
- BLS – Healthcare provider and other certifications as defined by department
- Graduate of an ARRT accredited program with a degree or certificate in Radiation Therapy
