Responsibilities
- Prepares treatment room
- Explains procedures to patients
- Positions patients and administers treatments
- Maintains strict patient and family confidentiality
- Makes sure patients are comfortable during therapy sessions
- Monitors patients to observe changes in their condition
Requirements
- Board eligible by the ARRT
- Graduation from an approved program in Radiation Therapy
- One year of experience
- Licensure: Board eligible for registry by the ARRT
