About the role
Provide a planned course of radiation therapy treatment to patients as prescribed by a physician and in accordance with established policies and procedures ensuring patient safety and care.Responsibilities
- Plan and administer radiation therapy treatments according to medical protocols.
- Monitor and record patient responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduate of AMA approved Radiation Therapy Technology program.
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
Qualifications
- 1 year experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital environment.
- American Society Radiologic Technology (ASRT) Membership.
