Radiation Therapist - Per Diem

About the role

Provide a planned course of radiation therapy treatment to patients as prescribed by a physician and in accordance with established policies and procedures ensuring patient safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer radiation therapy treatments according to medical protocols.
• Monitor and record patient responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of AMA approved Radiation Therapy Technology program.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist license.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital environment.
• American Society Radiologic Technology (ASRT) Membership.
