About the role
Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring Radiation Therapists. This is a full-time, first-shift position. As a Radiation Therapist, you will provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology REQUIRED
- ARRT Certification PREFERRED
- All new graduates will remain Radiation Therapist I for the first 2 years of employment and are required to pass boards within 6 months of hire
- Completion of an approved certification program prior to 2016 in lieu of Associate’s degree will also be considered
- No prior experience required

About the facility
Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, VA, is home to the region’s only Level III Trauma Center.
