Radiation Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to administer radiation therapy treatments by accurately preparing and positioning patients, delivering prescribed doses in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrists, and maintaining detailed treatment records.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as linear accelerators to deliver radiation therapy treatments.
• Ensure accurate preparation and positioning of patients for treatment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records.
• Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists to deliver prescribed doses.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe department environment.
• Perform equipment maintenance and image quality assurance.
• Support department safety and organization.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or completion of a radiation therapy certification program.
• ARRT-T (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Therapy) credential required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• No prior experience necessary.
